Snoop Dogg: Welcome to my pound

NEW YORK, July 14 (UPI) -- Snoop Dogg has become the latest celebrity inviting viewers to watch the details of his daily life.

The rapper will star in a half-hour reality series to begin airing on the E!Entertainment network this year, the New York Daily News reports.

The program will follow Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., through his business and home life, the network announced Friday.

Broadus lives with Shante, his wife of 10 years and his three children.

Viewers also may be able to observe the top-selling rap artist completing the 800 hours of community service he was sentenced to in April stemming from felony drug and weapon charges.

Snoop Dogg's show will make for good viewing because he is "charismatic and intriguing," Ted Harbert, president of E!Entertainment's parent company, Comcast Entertainment Group.
