Jessica Simpson: It's all real

HOLLYWOOD, July 12 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress-singer Jessica Simpson said everything about her is real and credits a fellow Texan for helping her launch her music and acting careers.

Simpson, in an interview for the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, said she hasn't nipped, tucked or enhanced anything, USA Today reported Thursday.

"But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my bellybutton, I would get them lifted," Simpson told fashion designer Michael Kors, who wrote the article. "But you know, my boobs are real."

Simpson, whose "Blonde Ambition" is awaiting a release date, credits Willie Nelson for helping her with her acting.

"Willie Nelson taught me an amazing thing on 'The Dukes of Hazzard'," she said. "He memorizes his lines by writing them as a song and they become a melody to him."

The country singer also inspired Simpson musically.

"I've been wanting to do a country record because it's just my roots; it's my soul," Simpson said. "I aspire to be like Patsy Cline. Willie actually turned me on to her because he used to be one of her background singers."
