Larry Seidlin may become TV's next judge

FORT LAUTERDALE, Fla., June 20 (UPI) -- Broward County, Fla., Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin has signed to develop a court show with CBS Television Distribution in 2008.

TV industry magazine Broadcasting & Cable has cited "multiple industry sources," saying that Seidlin will tape either a pilot or sales presentation in early July in Los Angeles, said the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Wednesday.

Seidlin, who gained public fame after handling the legal battle of Anna Nicole Smith's remains, announced his resignation from Broward County family court on Tuesday.

His attorney, Dave Bogenschutz, said that he couldn't confirm or deny any reports of a television show in the making.

CBS Television Distribution already has Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown, the top two TV judges, on its network.
