Zachary Quinto will return to 'Heroes'

LOS ANGELES, June 14 (UPI) -- Actor Zachary Quinto, who plays the villain Sylar on NBC's "Heroes," will have a recurring role on the show's next season.

Access Hollywood reported that even though it had appeared that Sylar was thwarted at the end of the last season, he will return to terrorize the city in season No. 2.

The villain was stabbed through the chest during the season one finale, but a quick pan to the scene of his "death" revealed that Sylar's body was gone, suggesting that he was not dead.

Quinto previously appeared on "CSI," "Touched By An Angel," Charmed" and "Six Feet Under."

Quinto has also said he "would next love to play a young Spock in a the new 'Star Trek' movie."
