Bullock stalker charged with two felonies

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 17 (UPI) -- The woman who allegedly tried to run over Sandra Bullock's husband was charged with two felonies, prosecutors in Orange County, Calif., said.

Marcia Valentine, 46, of Huntington Beach, Calif., faces a maximum prison sentence of four years and eight months if convicted on the assault and stalking charges, People magazine reported Thursday.

Valentine allegedly tried to hit motorcycle mogul Jesse James with her silver Mercedes at Brown and Bullock's Sunset Beach, Calif., home April 22. She fled, but was arrested the next day when an officer recognized her car. She posted $25,000 bail.

Bullock, 42, won a three-year restraining order last week against Valentine, who had been showing up at the couple's home for several months and leaving items on the property. The restraining order bars Valentine from coming within 500 yards of Bullock, James and his three children.

A Valentine family member told People, "From the bottom of our hearts, we just feel heartsick for what happened to Jesse James, Sandra Bullock and their family."

Valentine's arraignment is scheduled for May 22.
