ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., May 12 (UPI) -- Actress Sandra Bullock has obtained a restraining order in California against a woman who allegedly tried to run Bullock's husband over with a car.
Bullock Friday got a got a three-year restraining order against dental assistant Marcia Diane Valentine -- who allegedly tried to run down Jesse James in her Mercedes, The Orange County register reported.
Neither James nor Valentine attended the hearing. Bullock told Superior Court Judge Thomas J. Borris that Valentine has trespassed on Bullock's property numerous times and has even left signs -- some covered with animal fur -- in her back yard.
James spotted Valentine in the couple's driveway April 22.
"He said, 'The crazy lady is here,'" Bullock told the judge.
She said James went outside to copy the woman's license plate number, when Valentine allegedly tried to run him over a few times.
James was not hit.
Valentine was arrested the next day.
