WELLINGTON, New Zealand, April 30 (UPI) -- "Whale Rider" star Keisha Castle-Hughes gave birth last week to a baby girl in New Zealand.
The child, Felicity-Amore, born Wednesday, was described by Castle-Hughes' publicist as "beautiful," People magazine reports.
Castle-Hughes, 17, and the father, Brad Hull, 20, have been dating for three years.
The Australia-born actress is best known for her portrayal as Paikea in "Whale Rider," which earned her a best actress Oscar nod at age 13, the youngest ever nominated in that category. Castle-Hughes played the Queen of Naboo in "Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and was Mary in "The Nativity Story."
