FORT WORTH, Texas, April 7 (UPI) -- The scheduled television interview with one of the defendants in "The Texas Cadet Murder" isn't winning any points with the mother of the victim.
Linda Jones, says her family is still grieving over the 1995 death of her daughter, Adrianna Jones, and they're upset that NBC is giving Diana Zamora air time on its "Dateline" program,
Jones and the prosecutor in the case told the Fort Worth Star Telegram that Zamora's contention that her boyfriend, David Graham, killed Jones with little help from her was nothing new and a waste of time.
Zamora, now 29, was once a midshipman at the Naval Academy along with her boyfriend Graham, who is now 30. The pair was convicted of killing 16-year-old Jones on a secluded road after luring her away from her home.
The love triangle made national headlines and was portrayed in a made-for-television movie, "The Texas Cadet Murder." Zamora and Graham are serving life sentences.
The interview was scheduled to air Sunday.
