Akon's 'Don't Matter' tops singles chart

NEW YORK, April 5 (UPI) -- Akon's "Don't Matter" was atop the Billboard Hot 100, followed by Akon singing with Gwen Stefani on "The Sweet Escape," which climbed from No. 6.

Mims' former Hot 100 No. 1, "This Is Why I'm Hot," inched up from fourth to No. 3, while "Glamorous" by Fergie featuring Ludacris dipped from No. 2 to No. 4.

Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" moved up from seventh to No. 5.

Beyonce and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar" fell from third to No. 6 while Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold" featuring Patrick Stump slipped to No. 7 from fifth.

Also rebounding were Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around ... Comes Around," which nudged up from No. 9 to No. 8 and. Daughtry's "It's Not Over" which climbed from No. 10 to ninth.

Diddy's "Last Night" featuring Keyshia Cole" broke into the top tier, moving up two spots to No. 10.
