Harry Potter film rumors squashed

LONDON, March 24 (UPI) -- The producers of the "Harry Potter" films have announced that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson will all appear in the series' final two movies.

There were rumors circulating that Watson had told the producers that she did not want to continue as Hermione Granger, the BBC reported.

"I could never let Hermione go -- she is my hero! I love her too much and love what playing her has meant to me. I am excited and honored to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films," Watson said.

There was also some speculation that Radcliffe, 17, Grint, 18, and Watson, 16, were becoming too old to play the characters that they brought to life in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," or "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," in 2001.

But, Warner Bros. Jeff Robinov said it would be "inconceivable" to allow anyone else to play the roles.
