Obi Wan's cloak sells for $104K at auction

LONDON, March 7 (UPI) -- The brown cloak Alec Guinness wore as Obi Wan Kenobi in a "Star Wars" galaxy far, far away sold for $104,200 at a London auction.

An outfit worn by Sean Connery provided the day's biggest surprise, auctioneers at Bonhams said.

The two-piece tweed suit and hat he wore as Harrison Ford's dad in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was expected to fetch no more than $2,900. It sold for just under $51,000.

Another Connery item -- a dinner jacket he wore as James Bond in the 1965 movie "Thunderball" -- sold for $64,000.

About 400 costumes were up for auction Tuesday.
