LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- British pop star James Blunt was reportedly involved in a car incident in Los Angeles in which a man was injured outside of a pre-Oscar party.
Police did not specify what Blunt's role was in the Saturday accident, but did say that he was not injured, People magazine reported.

"All I can do is confirm that James Blunt was involved in a traffic accident in which a man's foot was run over," said Officer Norma Eisenman.
Police were called to the house of Creative Artists Agency agent Bryan Lourd in Los Angeles to aid the unidentified man after his foot was reportedly run over.
