BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Nearly three of four viewers in an AccessHollywood.com poll said they thought California photographer Larry Birkhead fathered Anna Nicole Smith's child.
Seventy-three percent of the nearly 2,500 viewers said they thought Birkhead was the father of the 5-month-old Dannielynn, the poll said. Birkhead filed a paternity suit in California.
Twenty-two percent said they thought Howard K. Stern was the father. Stern is listed on the birth certificate as the father.
The poll was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday, before testimony was taken by Stern or Birkhead in a Florida courtroom on who should receive Smith's body for burial, AccessHollywood.com pollsters said.
The rest of the votes were split among Smith's deceased husband, J. Howard Marshall, 3 percent; Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, Prince von Anhalt, 1 percent; and Smith's former bodyguard, Alex Denk, also 1 percent.
