NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- New York City's Fashion Week has been going strong, even with all the expected chaos, a published report says.
The New York Post said 40 minutes after Kimora Lee Simmons' Baby Phat show's scheduled start time, an exasperated publicist screamed into her headset: "Oh, my God! She wants to go back to New Jersey to change? What do I do?"
At an official Mercedes-Benz launch party Thursday night, socialite Alex von Furstenberg told friends he'd refuse to attend his mother's after-party if she didn't screen the Super Bowl.
Gossip monger and novelist Imogen Edwards-Jones has come to the United States for the U.S. launch of her new book, "Fashion Babylon," a risky, behind-the-scenes look at the fashion industry, the newspaper said.
Also, the Post reported designer Jack Spade plans to hand out cookies shaped like hot dogs and hamburgers this week to combat the surge of skinny models at Bryant Park.
