Spelling to guest star on 'Smallville'

HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Tori Spelling is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of the CW's "Smallville."

CBS ShowBuzz.com reported Spelling will play a gossip columnist who writes a story exposing Lana's reluctance about marrying Lex.

Spelling, 33, formerly of "Beverly Hills 90210," is the daughter of the late television tycoon Aaron Spelling. She is expecting a baby boy in March.
