NEW YORK, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Hip-hop superstar 50 Cent was once again pulled over by New York's finest and given a ticket for making a wrong turn as a crowd gathered to gawk.
The New York Daily News reported Saturday that the stop in Harlem went smoothly.
The rapper, whose true name is Curtis Jackson III, 32, was pulled over in September near Harold Square for making an unsafe lane change in his Lamborghini. At that time, he was handcuffed and taken to the precinct after officers that the $300,000 vehicle had no license plates and Jackson could not produce a driver's license, proof of insurance or a vehicle registration.
Known for his "gangsta" image, Jackson rose to fame following the success of his albums "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" and "The Massacre," which both achieved multi-platinum status, selling around 20 million albums worldwide.
He lives in Mike Tyson's former Connecticut mansion, but his street credentials include having been shot at nine times and hit three.
