Mary J. Blige tops Billboard album chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- R&B singer Mary J. Blige has taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, which ranks albums by their sales.

Billboard.com reported that Blige took the enviable spot for her newest album "The Breakthrough."

Also appearing at the top of the chart is Eminem with "Curtain Call: The Hits," Mariah Carey and Lionel Ritchie, who returns to the charts after a 10-year absence.
