LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- While the second "Hostel" film has yet to make its U.S. debut, director Eli Roth has reportedly agreed to head up a third installment in the horror series.
The 34-year-old director only recently completed production on "Hostel II," yet IGNFilmForce has reported that Roth will head up yet another sequel as soon as he completes his next film project.
"Hostel II" focuses on a trio of travelers who find their vacation turned into a nightmare when they are caught up in a game of life and death.
While "Hostel" focused on three young men, its sequel assigned actresses Heather Mattarazzo, Lauren German and Bijou Phillips as its tormented leads.
The Web site said that Roth, whose next project is a film adaptation of Stephen King's novel "The Cell," has said production on the third installment will be determined when the release date of "Hostel II" is revealed.
