PERTH, Australia, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The Wiggles say they will issue a big announcement Thursday, leading young fans to wonder if yellow Wiggle Greg Page will leave the Australian group.
Page has been afflicted by a mystery illness in the past eight months. He told The Sunday Times the fainting spells caused by the illness are "getting more frequent and more concerning."
Understudy Sam Moran is filling in for the yellow Wiggle.
Each member of the group wears a particular color.
Dianna O'Neill, publicist for the Wiggles, confirmed Page's illness with The Sydney Morning Herald but she refused to say what the press conference in Perth will reveal.
The Times says the group's manager Paul Field has denied the rumor Greg Page, lead singer for the "kiddie music supergroup" has cancer.
Business Review Weekly reported in 2005 the Wiggles earned more than $45 million, making them Australia's most profitable entertainers.
