NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Jerry Lee Lewis has big plans for his near future, including more albums and a television special, Billboard.com reported.
The TV special, whose broadcast details are still being discussed, will feature artists on Lewis's latest album, "The Last Man Standing," features Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and Willie Nelson, among other luminaries. The album hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and also spawned a DVD, slated for release next year.
"I'd like to do some more songs, if I'm able to do it," Lewis, 71, told Billboard.com. "That depends on God's willing. I don't want to go away dead, y'know? If it comes to a showdown, I'd like to do some more."
Lewis also told Billboard of his plans to record gospel and blues collections.
