LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Actor Tobey Maguire of the popular "Spider-Man" film series and his wife, Jennifer Meyer welcomed their first child together Thursday in Los Angeles.
The 31-year-old actor's jewelry designing fiance gave birth to a daughter in California, marking a life transformation that Meyer said she has been eagerly anticipating, People magazine reported.
"Let's just say this is truly the best time of my life," the 29-year-old daughter of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer said recently. "I'm walking on air. I'm getting married, starting a family and have an amazing company."
The birth comes at a perfect time for the couple, who have not yet set a wedding date, as both are at high points in their individual careers.
People said that just as Maguire has been busy filming the third installment in the popular "Spider-Man" franchise, Meyer has been designing jewelry for celebrities such as "Friends" actresses Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox.
