"The Chrysler brand is proud to be at the forefront of the new podcasting medium with the Chrysler Music Legends monthly podcasts," said Chrysler spokesman Eric Andrew.

While the first installment in the 12-part series focused on singer Johnny Cash, future portions of the marketing campaign will feature Nina Simone, Miles Davis and Gloria Estefan.

The podcasts are being made available on Chrysler's Web site and through Internet music browsers that use radio service software such as iTunes.
