Pam acted surprised in 'Borat' encounter

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Hollywood bombshell Pamela Anderson showed some solid acting chops when she fooled the minions of folks who saw her act surprised in the new "Borat" movie.

The New York Post's Page Six column reported this week that Anderson was not nearly as surprised as she acted when Borat attempts to woo the "Baywatch" icon and spirit her off to his "native" Kazakhstan.

"Borat" is the spoof story of a famed but nutty Kazakh television journalist making his way across the United States.

An insider told the Post that the seemingly impromptu encounter between "Borat" star Sacha Baron Cohen and Anderson was arranged in advance and pointed out that "There's no way Sacha and a camera operator could have gotten past her bodyguards in real life and then manhandled her."

The source said the scene was loosely scripted and included a fair dose of improvisation coupled with "jerky camera movements to make it look real."
