Cruise and Holmes to wed in Italy

ROME, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have decided to get married Nov. 18 in Italy, a publicist for Cruise confirmed to E! News.

Cruise and Holmes -- who became engaged in 2005 and had a child earlier this year -- were said to be considering George Clooney's place in Lake Como as a location for their wedding, but no date was announced.

Holmes reportedly told People earlier this week that she had found her dress, and Giorgio Armani confirmed that he would design the couple's attire for the big day.

"When I am asked by a friend to make a wedding wardrobe, it goes straight to my heart," Armani told Us Weekly.
