PARIS, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- A 30-second TV advertisement for the Citroen C6 features Scottish actor Sean Connery becoming younger the longer he drives the French automobile.
The 76-year-old actor who breathed life into super spy James Bond is featured in the spot driving the car throughout the Caribbean -- all the while having the years peel away from his aged visage -- said the Daily Mail.
When the actor finally arrives at his final locale in the commercial, computer special effects allow him to appear as he did when he stepped into Bond's shoes in the 1960s.
The advertisement will run in countries that are seen as major sales markets for the car -- essentially ruling out Britain, where the car is not expected to sell successfully.
The involvement of Connery with the French automobile brand is the second time that Citroen has gotten the Bond treatment, the Daily Mail said. In the 1981 Bond film, "For Your Eyes Only," actor Roger Moore drove a Citroen, in what the MPH motor show has called the best Bond chase ever.
