LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Through his Happy Madison production company in Hollywood, comedian Adam Sandler is set make a film adaptation of the comic book "The Day I Turned Uncool."
Sandler's production company will take on production duties for Paramount Pictures' adaptation of Dan Zevin's memoir, whose full title is "The Day I Turned Uncool: Confessions of a Reluctant Grown-up," and the comedian could ultimately star in the film, Daily Variety reported.
Jack Giarraputo and Heather Parry are set to represent Happy Madison during the filming alongside producer Kevin Misher, while "Hollywoodland" screenwriter Paul Bernhaum has been signed on to write the cinematic adaptation of Zevin's comic.
"Uncool" follows Zevin as he ponders the impact his impending 30s will have on his life and his life's commitments.
Daily Variety reported that Sandler's company is currently engaged in the production of the film comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry."
