LOS ANGELES, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- U.S. film actress Tara Reid has admitted she recently underwent reconstructive surgery to repair a botched cosmetic operation nearly two years ago.
The 30-year-old actress has confessed she did have cosmetic surgery in 2004 to receive breast implants and liposuction, but was forced to have a second operation on Sept. 6 to repair damage from the initial operation, said Us Weekly.
The "American Pie" star said the 2004 surgery came about due to Reid's concern over her Hollywood image and her age, but its results ultimately had a negative impact on her life.
"I got lipo because even though I was skinny, I wanted -- I'm not going to lie -- a six-pack," Reid said, adding that her new implants caused a series of bumps that never dissipated. "I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing."
Reid also told Us Weekly her botched implants, which were accidentally displayed during an infamous 2004 N.Y. outing, led to several embarrassing moments in her dating life.
