NEW YORK, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Actress Amanda Peet and screenwriter David Benioff were married in New York, just two weeks after the couple announced that Peet was pregnant.
Benioff and Peet exchanged vows in a ceremony at the Friends Seminary, the Quaker school that Peet graduated from, reported E! Online Monday.
Actress Elizabeth Berkley, actor Mark Ruffalo and their spouses witnessed the ceremony.
"It was beautiful," Ruffalo told People.
The formal wedding was followed by a reception at the Chelsea Art Museum, reported Us Weekly.
The newlyweds met on a blind date four years ago. They announced last July that they were planning to be married.
Peet, who currently stars in the new NBC series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," also appeared in "The Whole Nine Yards" and "Syriana." Benioff wrote "25th Hour" and "Troy."
