Janet Jackson sorry for apology

NEW YORK, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Singer Janet Jackson says she is sorry she apologized for her famous -- or infamous -- "wardrobe malfunction" during the 2004 Super Bowl in Houston.

Jackson told TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey that by apologizing she acted as if she felt responsible for an accident, Rolling Stone reported. Jackson and Justin Timberlake were doing "Rock Your Body" during the half-time show when he tore off part of her top, revealing a bare breast to the U.S. television audience.

Jackson's latest album, "20 Y.O." is set for next week, the same day that the interview with Winfrey is scheduled to air.
