NEW YORK, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Big Apple musicians Moby and Blondie's Debbie Harry have put their own touches on the classic ode to their city, "New York, New York."

Harry, 61, an '80s new wave icon, told NME.com she had great fun working with Moby on the single due out Oct. 23.

"I enjoyed working with and getting to know Moby while recording 'New York, New York,'" Harry said. "We both live in the city and I love all the inspiration it's given each of us.

"Moby has a strong artistic vision, but he was also willing to listen to any suggestions that I had, which made me feel a real part of the song. I hope we can do more in the future."

Moby will include the single on his compilation album, "Go- The Very Best Of Moby," due out in stores Nov. 6.
