NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- U.S. band Guns N' Roses front man Axl Rose plans to release the hard rock album he's spent a decade working on before the year's end.
The album, "Chinese Democracy," has often been delayed, MTV.com reported.

"It's not about being a control freak," Rose told New York magazine.
"It's about being maybe smart enough to go, 'No, that's a bad idea,'" he said.
"I want to make a good record. I don't want to throw a brick," Rose said. "This cannot be Shaq at the free-throw line."
Guns N' Roses is going on tour with performances in Sunrise, Fla., on Oct. 24, and Tampa, Fla., on Oct. 25, MTV.com reported.
