Writer Biller joins ABC's 'Six Degrees'

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- U.S. writer-producer Ken Biller signed a two-year contract with Touchstone TV to produce two scripts, including the series "Six Degrees," based in New York.

Biller is getting paid seven figures to take over from Carol Flint; traveling between New York and Los Angeles where she lives was said to have become problematic for Flint, the Hollywood Reporter said.

"Six Degrees" is an ABC drama about six strangers accidentally interconnecting, bringing them closely together. The drama is co-produced with J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot.

Biller is executive producer with creators Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner, Abrams and Bryan Burk from Bad Robot.
