Supernatural breaks freestyle record

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Rapper Supernatural broke the "Longest Freestyle Rap" record at this year's Rock the Bells concert in San Bernardino, Calif.

The rapper set a Guinness Book of World Records time for the longest freestyle rap of 9 hours and 10 minutes beating the record set by Canadian rapper D.O., AllHipHop.com reported Wednesday.

"Basically keeping my breath and pacing myself were the hardest aspects for me but by the grace of God I made it," Supernatural told Web site.

The lineup for the weekend's Rock the Bells festival included the Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Redman, De La Soul, Aesop Rock, Living Legends, DEL The Funky Homosapien, Immortal Technique, MURS 3:16, Self Scientific, Visionaries, B Real, Dilated Peoples and Planet Asia.
