With roles in the films "The Devil Wears Prada" and "A Prairie Home Companion," along with a voiceover part in the animated comedy "The Ant Bully," 2006 has revitalized Streep's career, the newspaper said.

Film critic Leonard Maltin observed that, with her most recent work, Streep has now has had roles in almost 50 films in every cinematic genre.

"Even younger moviegoers seem to recognize that she's not just an 'older actress,' but someone of great talent and limitless versatility," said Maltin. "There's nothing she can't do or won't try, from high drama to farce. She's got a sense of humor and a great singing voice to boot."
