'Snakes on a Plane' soaring on Internet

LONDON, July 28 (UPI) -- With the release of "Snakes on a Plane" weeks away, Internet buzz has dramatically increased fan anticipation of the film, it was reported in London.

The Internet chatter about the film -- starring Samuel L. Jackson -- has not only raised fans' desire to see the movie, but has prompted the filmmakers to re-edit the film in response to online comments.

The final version includes a sex scene, numerous more snake attacks, and a profanity-laced comment by Jackson that has become a virtual Internet credo.

"Snakes" stars Jackson as an FBI agent who must fend off hundreds of deadly snakes in an airplane while escorting a witness to Los Angeles.

With the creation of thousands of Web sites, Internet blogs, and even songs based on the film, the pressure for "Snakes" to live up to the hype is clearly building, the BBC said.
