'Now 22' No. 1 for 2nd week in a row

NEW YORK, July 26 (UPI) -- The 22nd installment of "NOW That's What I Call Music!" was the top-selling U.S. album for the second consecutive week, Billboard reported.

"NOW 22" was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart Wednesday followed by the debut of the Los Lonely Boys' sophomore album, "Sacred," at No. 2 and country's Rodney Atkins with "If You're Going Through Hell" entering the chart at No. 3.

Gnarls Barkley's "St. Elsewhere" bumped up a notch from last week to No. 4 and the soundtrack to Disney's "High School Musical" climbed a few spots to No. 5 in its 28th week on the chart. Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang" jumped to No. 6.

Nelly Furtado's "Loose" fell to No. 7, Rihanna's "A Girl Like Me" climbed back to No. 8 and the Dixie Chicks re-entered the Top 10 with "Taking the Long Way" clocking in at No. 9. The Pussycat Dolls rounded out the 2005 "PCD" also making a return to the top tier.

Overall U.S. CD sales fell 4 percent from the previous week and 13 percent compared to the same last year. Annual sales were running 5 percent behind 2005 at 197.8 million albums sold.
