ABC's 'Nightline' moving from Times Square

NEW YORK, July 21 (UPI) -- ABC's "Nightline" is moving from its New York midtown studio to ABC's Upper West Side headquarters after less than a year in Times Square.

The show was based in Washington until anchor Ted Koppel left. It then shifted to the Times Square studios and re-launched with a new format and new hosts Terry Moran, Cynthia McFadden and Martin Bashir, the New York Post reported Friday.

Executive producer James Goldston said the move will make it easier to produce the show, the newspaper reported. He said he originally decided to move the show to Times Square to bring more "pizzazz" to the news cast.
