NEW YORK, July 11 (UPI) -- The Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall will open New York's Fashion Week with Sir Elton John curating the show, Pollstar.com reported.
John will headline the star-studded Sept. 7 lineup, including Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Bon Jovi, The Black Eyed Peas, Daddy Yankee, Jamie Foxx, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Nelly Furtado, The Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Scissor Sisters, Kanye West and others top performers.
A fashion show produced by KCD is being sponsored by Conde Nast Media Group.
Conde Nast President Richard D. Beckman said he was delighted to have John curating the show.
"He's always been an outrageous fashion icon and one of the greatest musical artists of all time," said Beckman. "He's the epitome of what the show's all about."
CBS will broadcast Fashion Rocks the following night.
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit John's own AIDS foundation, billboard.com reported.
