Rapper Jay-Z returns to the mic

NEW YORK, June 16 (UPI) -- Jay-Z is making a triumphant return to the mic on June 25 for the 10th anniversary of "Reasonable Doubt," his debut album.

He plans to appear at New York's Radio City Music Hall to perform the entire album; it is still unknown whether the guest artists from the album will be a part of the event, Rolling Stone reported.

Reasonable Doubt reached No. 23 on the chart and has gone on to sell nearly 1.5 million copies.

Also, Jay-Z, who spent a good deal of his career dropping the name Cristal champagne in his songs, announced that he will no longer support the brand, Us weekly reported Friday.

"It has come to my attention that the managing director of Cristal, Frederic Rouzaud, views the 'hip-hop' culture as 'unwelcome attention,'" Jay-Z said, according to the weekly. "I view his comments as racist and will no longer support any of his products through any of my various brands, including the 40/40 Club, nor in my personal life."
