Nic Cage buys his own island

NASSAU, Bahamas, May 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage has bought his own island in the Bahamas.

Cage purchased the more than 40-acre undeveloped island for $3 million, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Cage would not comment on whether he plans to develop the island southeast of Nassau and not far from an island owned by country stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, the Journal said.

Cage 42, has a home on Paradise Island and sold his Malibu, Calif., home last year for $10 million.
