Dunst in talks to join Black in 'Rewind'

LOS ANGELES, May 18 (UPI) -- "Spider-Man 3" and "Marie-Antoinette" star Kirsten Dunst is in talks in Hollywood to join Jack Black in Michel Gondry's quirky comedy, "Be Kind Rewind."

Black stars as a junkyard employee who accidentally erases all the videotapes in his best friend's video store when he creates a magnetic field to stop his brain from melting, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.

The film follows the two as they recreate every film the store's only customer -- a little old lady with the onset of dementia -- wants to see. Early reports indicate the customer's list of favorites includes "Back to the Future," "The Lion King" and "Robocop."

Filming, which would reunite Gondry and Dunst, is scheduled to start filming in late September. The two worked together in 2004's "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
