Paris sent packing on 'American Idol'

LOS ANGELES, Colo., May 4 (UPI) -- Fayetteville, Ga., teen phenom, Paris Bennett, has become the latest "American Idol" hopeful voted off the Fox TV talent competition.

Bennett, 17, and Elliott Yamin, 27, of Richmond, Va., received the lowest number of public votes following Tuesday night's show, but in the end, it was the 17-year-old who was eliminated on live TV Wednesday night as Yamin was sent back to the bench as a member of the final four.
