LOS ANGELES, April 24 (UPI) -- The Hollywood Reporter says reports of the demise of the WB's popular family drama "7th Heaven" may be premature.
The network has been promoting "the final three episodes ever" of the most-watched show on the WB or UPN, but when the two merge into The CW come fall, "7th Heaven" just might be on the schedule, The Reporter said.
The Camden family has averaged about 5.2 million viewers this season and although no formal offers have been tendered, stars Catherine Hicks, Stephen Collins, Beverley Mitchell and George Stults have been asked if they want to forge ahead with another season, The Reporter said.
The fledgling network is reportedly keeping its options open pending the outcome of four drama pilots currently in development.
