NEW YORK, March 30 (UPI) -- New York's Capla Kesting Fine Art Gallery is braced for a deluge of patrons eager to see to see a life-size sculpture of Britney Spears giving birth.
Connecticut sculptor Daniel Edwards created the "Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston," which depicts Spears crouching naked on a bearskin rug as her baby emerges, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.
Edwards said he has never met the pop music star. Nor had he met baseball great Ted Williams, whose severed head was the subject of his last major piece.
The sculpture goes on display at the Brooklyn gallery April 7.
