The British like William's girlfriend

LONDON, March 8 (UPI) -- An overwhelming number of British residents say Kate Middleton would be a good bride for Prince William, but the couple should wait to marry.

A survey by the magazine Tatler found 94 percent of those questioned would support a union between the society couple, but 82 percent said they are too young at this point to tie the knot, the Mirror reported Wednesday.

Furthermore, 75 percent of respondents said Middleton would be a down-to-earth princess while 30 percent predicted such a union would not last.
