Another 12 people have been charged with involvement in Pellicano's work.

The New York Times reports Christensen's alleged role is as attorney for Kirk Kerkorian during a 2002 child support and paternity dispute with his ex-wife.

The federal indictment accuses Christensen of paying $100,000 to Pellicano to wiretap the ex-wife's phone.

The indictment included multiple conversations in which the two allegedly talked about the investigation and wiretap.

Also pleading not guilty was Joann Wiggan, a former employee of a telephone company.
