LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Heather Locklear filed for divorce Thursday from her Bon Jovi rocker husband Richie Sambora.
Locklear filed the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, her publicist said in a statement.

"This is a private matter, and there will be no further comment at this time," E! Online quoted the rep as saying.
The actress and the guitarist married in December 1994 and have an 8-year-old daughter.
Locklear, 44, was previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, while this was Sambora's first marriage.
