Do lead feet run in rapper's family?

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Rapper DMX is not the only one in his family with driving issues -- his wife has been arrested for going 106 mph in North Castle, N.Y.

Tashera Simmons, 34, was allegedly clocked by police driving 106 mph in a 65 mph zone, on the same road her husband was arrested on in 2004 for going 104 mph, AllHipHop.com reported Thursday.

Simmons was cited Sunday for speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle and not using child restraints. Police said none of the four children in the car had seat belts on.

DMX was sentenced to 70 days in prison in November for violating probation by getting two speeding tickets. He was on probation for crashing his car through a gate at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.
