NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Teenage singer/actress Lindsay Lohan reveals in Vanity Fair she was bulimic and used drugs.
The 19-year-old Disney star -- who was hospitalized in Miami Monday after an asthma attack -- blamed her problems on stress caused by her father, Hollywood and the breakup with her boyfriend, actor Wilmer Valderrama, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
"I was sick ... I had people sit me down and say, 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself,'" she told Vanity Fair.
She admitted using drugs "a little" and said she suffered bulimia as recently as last May.
"I was making myself sick," the actress said. Lorne Michaels staged an intervention after she appeared on "Saturday Night Live."
"I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem, and I couldn't admit it," Lohan said. "I saw that 'SNL' after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms."
