NEW YORK, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Golden Globe-nominated "Scrubs" star Zach Braff says the cast and crew of the Emmy-nominated show felt "very dissed" when NBC pulled it off the fall schedule.
In addition, the star told the New York Daily News claims by NBC that "Scrubs" was being held until midseason because of Braff's busy film schedule were not true.
Filming on "Fast Track" only overlapped the "Scrubs" shooting schedule by one week, Braff said. In fact, he said, more than 12 new episodes of "Scrubs" are ready to go.
"It is weird to be doing all of these shows and having none of them air," Braff said. "You feel like you're sort of doing this giant art experiment with no reaction from an audience yet. When we started (shooting), we didn't even know if we would end up on the air. In the back of our heads, we thought, 'What if they never put us on.'"
But the show is going on. It's fifth season kicks off Tuesday, filling the slot left open when "My Name is Earl" moves to Thursdays.
